Underworld 1.4 brings delivery jobs and new ranks
December 21, 2009
The most anticipated version of the game, bringing more ranks and new gameplay features has finally hit the AppStore. Right on time for Christmas!
Download the new version and let’s see what’s new.
Delivery Jobs
It’s the feature that was voted to top of the Open Roadmap in the very early days of Underworld. So, what’s the drill? Choose a job, buy the required amount of merchandize and bring it to the destination tile in time. If you succeed, extra cash is granted. In some cases that’s millions! However, you definitely don’t wanna fail the job: these guys always know where to find you and the punishment will be bad.
There are six types of delivery jobs. With the simplest Local delivery, the only thing you have to do is to find the merchandize, ‘cause the destination tile is the same tile where you get the job. Piece of cake! Starting with a Neighborhood delivery, you have to move around physically to get the job done. Follow the map and don’t forget about the time limit!

There are also two very special jobs: International and Super Cargo.
With an International delivery there is no actual destination spot: just take the commodity as far as you can. The twist is that the reward is only good if the travelled distance is hundreds of miles. So if you’re going on vacation or to a business trip, consider smuggling some stuff for a good reward!
Super Cargo delivery differs in a size of a parcel: the amount of commodity you have to deliver is HUGE! Sometimes it’s not even enough to have the max level of Carry Space. So visit Underworld to get some boost. Yep, that’s hard, but on the other side — the payment is awesome! Your choice.
New ranks
With the Delivery Jobs, you now have a whole new category of Equipment upgrades, which means there are 5 new ranks to compete in the Cream of the Crop.
By the way, we have adjusted upgrade costs recently so the step between #20 and #21 is even now.
Ignore List
If you have a stalker or just a dealer you don’t want to hear from, you can add him/her to your Ignore List. Use wisely as the communication is very important for your business!

It’s fun and a great thing to add new features but for some reason mine is crashing a lot now. It seems buggy a bit. Is anyone else experiencing this?

what can i do about in-game purchasing? everytime i try to buy something i go through the motions about contacting itunes and it asks for my itunes password but then it tells me that i am not a test user and this is the sandbox environment. from what i’ve heard this is an itunes problem but my question is what can i do? i have the option on my pc to download point packs (the old ones) i did do that before but andrey said that because i bought the phone from someone else and they used to play this game that i may not get the points. what do i do now? i still could use an hour or two of police protection every now and then (comes in handy) but i dont know which packs have been purchased because my screen tells me that none of them are installed.. pls help kinda stuck with snail movement right now and i love the game!

Nice to see some new ranks. I had some confusion on a Neighborhood delivery today though.
I was on a particular tile “Duwamish” when I took the job to deliver 13 cakes/peyotes. It listed one of the neighborhood jobs as requiring delivery to Duwamish. I took the job and bought the merchandise, but when I try to deliver, it kept telling me that I have to move to the other tile: “Duwamish”. But this is clearly where I am and was the whole time. Then it penalized me 10,000.
Was I supposed to move around a certain distance within the tile? This seems unusual since the directions say I have to bring it to the next tile.

I am having some problems with the new version… I have being buying Donuts today one at a time for $547 in Hunters Hill, NSW, Australia but every time I get busted by the police I am being fined $4,294 instead of just $547. The message when it pops up says I have lost $547 but when I check in Legal in Recent deals it says $4,294 has been fined…
I have had to revert back to version 1.2 as I do not get this problem in the old version.
Does anyone else have this problem?
